RH White’s subcontractors began work by driving steel sheeting to create an excavation support system for the foundation of the new tertiary treatment building. Carefully installed bracing ensured stability and safety throughout the excavation process. Once the sheeting and bracing were fully secured, excavation for the foundation was completed.
With excavation complete, the team formed the building’s footer and installed reinforcing steel to strengthen and reinforce the concrete. A concrete pump was then used to place the concrete efficiently and evenly into the prepared footer. After the concrete cured, RH White backfilled around the footer, placing and compacting soil to bring the area up to the top of the foundation and prepare the site for the next phase of construction.
